During the top 32 qualifying session Ken Nomura hit the wall and is out of the competition. His earlier runs, however, earned him the second qualifying position. He emerged from his car shortly after the impact and entertained the crowd with some moonwalking.

That sux….looks like his countersteer was too hard. I can’t believe Nomuken crashed. It was cool how polite he was to the audience.

I saw him at nago circuit in Okinawa a few years ago. He is such a nice guy. Props to nomura san.
