Early on during thursdays practice session 2005 Formula D Champion Rhys Millen had the misfortune of testing the holding strength of Irwindale Speedway’s inner wall.
Rhys says that the car is a total loss, but that he is ok. He will be watching his father, Rod Millen, from the grandstands as he will no longer run in this weeks event.

i love you Rhys!!!!!

What a shame Rhys, but knowing you, you’ll be back up and running soon with a new car. Better and meaner than before. Good Luck

Rhys sorry to hear/see your GTO. ouch. But it happens sometimes the yoko’ AGS ES100 can slip a bit too much. My car of choice is a Pontiac Grand Am - check my sight for some pics soon. I’m building up three differently right now. The one pictured is for Drifting. I’m slipping a rear wheel drive conversion and building up my 3.3LV6… potentially a 3.8 out of a firebird/grand prix. Anyways can’t wait to see how the Solstice does. Live life in the red man. I’m out.
