Say what? Tanner’s Charger? I thought that mopar was making the drift Charger for Sam. Also, Kiwi pride! NZ pride! And you cant drift in a cart. Power has to be transferred the rear wheels so that the tires slip, causing it to “drift” across the road. However, with karts, you’re hella low to the ground and the weight is so focused that no matter what the tires will be basically glued to the pavement. So if you got the wheels to spin, eventually it’ll grip before you know it and you’ll tip!
As for drifting an FF, you rely on the E-brake more than RWD or 4WD. It’s nice if you have a 1-way LSD installed in the front of your car because when you drift an FF more power needs to come from the outside wheel than the inside. FF cars can rush into a corner faster than a RWD. The only drawback is that it’s not much of a show because it doesn’t produce as much smoke as the other drives. Full throttle through the turn is basically all you need to do in an FF while controlling hard E-brake skills. I’m saying all this because I drive a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE 2.0 and drifting it was easier than transcending my dad’s RWD Porsche 968.
Anyways, I hope you guys were able to get some insight on this! Keep on sliding time away!
