If teams were not smart enough to pay attention to his technique over the three days that is their fault and oversight. The reason for the left foot braking into turn 9 was because he is still not used to LHD. He didn't use the handbrake once all weekend because of this and in order to slow the car he was using the foot brake. It is what it is and other FD drivers LHD capable have been doing it for years.
