  1. Fun event.

I just wish Formula D would learn to pace their events better. Oh, and their new logo sucks ass. :D

  5. Correction, November of this year is when Formula D will begin to air.

The partnership with IMG has already paid off, with ESPN2 signed as the exclusive broadcast partner for 2007, Formula DRIFT and drifting will be elevated to a new level. Seven 1-hour shows will be filmed with multiple repeats beginning in November 2007. IMG will work further to build the Formula DRIFT brand and the sport of drifting by applying their global marketing media and licensing resources.

  9. Don’t know…Too busy being amazed by how close HARAGUCHI got to the old dude standing near the wall…I thought that guy was a gonner for sure
during the Forsberg battle. Hogan who? Oh yea..
the guy taking the tickets at the door…

  10. I’m not even sure if Hogan showed up to unseeded qualifying. Not like he was going to qualify anyway, wasn’t too impressed with Chris Cook. He was running so slow and safe it was almost like they detuned the car for him.

The Charger looked good, better then it did in December. But still lacked compared to the solstice, I think Pontiac will win the factory back race this season. Rhys is lethal, Tanner and Haraguchi were lucky Rhys and Vaughn made there mistakes on Saturday.

  11. Its lame ass that we won’t be able to see any event video for FD until November!!!! Since they won’t let any one else film the events we get screwed with the long post production times. The season will be over by the time the first episode airs.

Give us at least a highlights video on the FD site or something

  12. It was a good event, especially with the overcast. It was sad to see no corolla in the top 8. Millen’s Soltice is quick and nimble, but I did want to see Tyler and Hiro driving the new cars…

  13. I am sorry, the pace was terrible. I invited some close friends who own businesses in shoreline village to the event and walked out before the main event started due to such a LONG wait! 5+ minutes between runs? C’mon guys, get it together! people were LEAVING!!!
