I remember the first time I ever tried to make Double Chocolate cookies. It didn't go to well.

The ingredients didn't mix, and they looked awful, but they tasted sooo good.

Now that I've been baking for years, they look great and taste great!

Give NOPI DRIFT a chance, and I think they'll have a great product within a few batches!

Just to come to my own defense a little bit here. Neither David, nor I had anything to do with the judging at this event. I will agree with you that there were a few dodgy calls, and that the situation with Hubert was a mess.

When it came to the microphone, I worked hard to guide Jeremy and Jaybird away from the "blue" material and focus on the drifting, but there is only so much I could do.

Overall the event could have benefited from trained course workers and better race staff communication. One thing that did go well, in my opinion, was the driving.

The average level of driving was better then I think a lot of people were expecting. Almost the entire field of 27 drivers was linking the course during qualifying.

Well everyone who was there on Saturday knows that this event was a total JOKE! Yoshie qualified in the top16???? I dont think so, we all watched her runs, and it wasnt top16 material! And let us not forget that other drivers were qualified wrongly or outright not qualified when they had easily top16 runs.

The top4 earned their positions fair. For the rest, you guys simply decided who you wanted in and who you didnt. Qualifying meant nothing. You guys threw away or lost peoples scores, marked zeros on good runs, marked low scores on great runs, and gave bullsh!t good scores on terrible runs. On top of that, you fabricated entry speed numbers, and lied to multiple drivers when they directly asked for their scores and speeds.

Add to that the absolute lack of professionalism on the mic (which included cursing from commentators over the PA) plus confusion with the start line and you have effectively run a complete FAILURE of a first event in the eyes of both competitors and fans alike!

Congratulations on hosting a spectacular FARCE and driving a number of great talents away from the series!!! Truth will be shown in the videos many teams have from the event.
