Orlando, Florida - Robby Unser has announced his entrance into the world of drifting today by signing with FL-based team Enjuku Racing for their 2007 Formula D Championship Series participation.
As the youngest of the legendary Unser family and the first of which to enter Formula D, this marks an unprecedented milestone in professional drifting.
“I’m excited, Robby said when asked about the team. “The Enjuku guys have a real good, clean team with good cars and good mechanics and I’m really looking forward to working with them.

He continued, “I think drifting in general is growing very quickly right now, and personally I’m looking quite forward to it. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and an opportunity to do something different I’ve never done before. I’m real excited to see what’s going to happen.
Robby was first introduced to drifting by his cousin Johnny Unser, and after a few trips to the events he was “hooked.
Team owner Ken Harrison had similar feelings towards the addition of Mr. Unser. “We’re extremely excited about the opportunity to have Robby on our team. It’s a really big move for [drifting], and having any Unser in a seat, particularly our seat, is huge for everyone involved.
