wow it looks like the car can carry a lot of speed sideways and accelerate mid-drift really well..can’t wait to see this one in competition and see what happens with the varying speeds of other cars

i saw the car in person… its a force to be reckoned with.
When you got HP and steering angle the thing that will kill you is lack of grip (ask JR), this car has plenty of grip. Squats on its lines and just accelerated out the apex…

You are wrong dumb ass….Oversteer is when you spin and lose drift. Granted technically drifting is oversteering but a controlled oversteer. When talking in the context of drifting oversteer is when the car has a tendency to spin out of drift. Of course the porsche is going to have traction with all the weight of the engine over the rear wheels but that same weight can cause the car to “Oversteer” more then a FR setup. Also the short wheelbase of the Porsche does’nt help. You just proved my point Cam! Your are a “DUMB ASS”!

I think the car is a nice, new exciting addition to the community filled with seeminlgy endless amounts of S-chassis vehicles. As demonstrated in the “speed” magazine article, the 911 can hang nuts with the best of them. They’re just so damn expensive to build. Luckily, john from JIC is a porsche fanatic.

Oversteer doesent just consist of spinning out.
Drifting is oversteering to a extent… oversteering then recovering you can say. A grip driver can oversteer and still not spin out, he can counter steer and recover.
When i see a drifter spin out I dont blame it on oversteer… thats absurd. I blame it on his technique or setup.
He might not have the steering angle or the alignment to really hold a deep line with out spinning out. Or he just might not be skilled enough (doesent know when to counter steer or the proper throttle patterns)…not oversteering though.
