March 24th, 2008 - Geoffrey Chandler
2008 is shaping up to be another exciting year. A couple of new faces, a couple new cars. With April rapidly approaching, the time has come once again for DriftLive to make our LBC predictions. Click here for a breakdown of what happened last year.
Although we love Tony’s heritage inspired wankle, and can’t hardly resist the sweet purr if Tanner’s VQ, the staff here at Driftlive is predicting that at Long Beach this season there will be no replacement for displacement.

How this final four
R1 Forsberg vs. JR (Seattle/Sonoma all over again) goes into OMT , Forsberg wins by 3 points
R2 Angelo vs. Tuerck (who buys who’s drinks?) Tuerck’s new ride pulls ahead a little on his lead.
R3. Consolation JR vs. Angelo - JR hits wall, spins (sorry) and Angelo’s small Mazda is able to pull around and continue run. He finishes and turns around, taking the track backwards to go check on his pal. Angelo takes third.
R4 Forsberg vs. Tuerck Tuerck pulls mad angle in lead, but Forsberg is door to door the whole time. No dirty play from Tuerck, no brake checks, just looking forward (or at least sideways) the whole time. Chris up by one. Second run, Tuerck and Forsberg continue to pull AMAZING angle, but in the end the 350Z takes a car length lead into the last hairpin.
Chris takes this run by 2.
1st - Forsberg
2nd - Tuerck
3rd - Angelo
4th - JR (it’ll be cherry by ATL, no worries)
NOW THAT’S AN ALL DA CHAMPIONSHIP WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO!
