Powered by a Normally Aspirated, 10.5:1, 392 cubic inch HEMI V8, Sam’s Charger produces 600HP and 550lb-ft. The engine runs on 104 octane race fuel and has a 6700 RPM readline. Samuel Hubinette’s Dodge Viper and Ryan Hampton’s 1969 Camaro both came to Atlanta with fresh looks. The Viper wearing a deep maroon paint scheme and the Camaro with a old skool hot rod style suede black. The Atlanta Formula Drift event sees some of the highest entry speeds of any track on the Formula D circuit.

The 2006 Formula Drift season opener in Long Beach California saw a few cars with new paint schemes, but it looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer for Rhys Millen’s Solstice, Samuel Hubinette’s Charger, Ken Gushi’s 2006 Mustang Cobra, and Chris Forsberg’s V8 350z convertible.
