Default S197 Tuning Referance

S197 is not usually the model of mustang discussed here in on the Driftlive/Driftmustang forum. Currently, as of this threads posting, that's mostly due to the fact that we can't afford them. But, as the used mustang market expands to include the S197 Mustang chassis, we will start having individuals who need information regarding tuning and setup. As both a moderator and as community member it would be irresponsible to not point them in the right direction.

So I aim to start a simple compendium of reference material, feel free to help with anything you find, and I will update accordingly*.

Default S197 owner

Awesome, I have an 2006 S197 and have been trying to get my car setup for drifting but also trying to keep it street-able cuz it's my only car. I'm looking forward to this thread are a dedicated S197 thread popping up.

I've been using stock wheel and tire sizes so far but this season I am going to go up to 18x8.5's in front with 255/40's to try to get some more front grip. And just running whatever's available on rears.
