Yeah, definitely, just remember, it's not all about power when drifting, it sure helps, but knowing how to handle that round thing in front of you plays a lot into that. I really want to see that T-Bird get some action, I know that bad boy will slide out.

DO WORK! LOL!

yeah but i noticed after drifting a 240sx with a stock KA for 4 years, even after youve done all the suspension mods you get to a certain point where you become limited to what you can do with your power, like trying to chase down another 240 with more power, i may be able to stay with him but because i have alot less power sometimes i have to sacriface angle because i would slow down too much, or i would have to start drifting later than the other car.

yeah i cant wait to get the tbird on a track, the width and long wheelbase is really nice, when you transition into the next turn you can just kinda let the car do its own thing, where a car like my corolla if you let go of the steering wheel it whips around fast as fuck and you almost break your arm off trying to grab the wheel LOL

Like my buddy Chris? This dude is NUTS though and an INSANE driver, he's been doing it since before it was cool to do though so he's gotten GOOD!

Check him out, watching him drive this car makes me wanna get another Corolla . . .

I know sometimes its hard to tell depth perception on video, but wtf were those people doing standing next to/inside the course with no safety barrier? (note: cones are NOT an effective barrier) I was watching the video thinking to myself.... thats a bad idea because anything can happen... and then like a few seconds later the 240 loses a wheel at speed. Me thinks the safety marshal at that event doth fail.

Last thing I want to see is a headline that reads: "Spectator Killed at Local Drift Race"

Hi,

my name is Yves Faber and I love drifting with my good old Mustang

@Ervin - got your mail
It's difficult to me to explain the modifications with technical terms...I will try to make you a picture...
The thing is that a basic fox body is quite a bad drift car (in comparison to f.ex. Nissan Sylvia...) and one needs to invest quite a lot to have a good car. My car costs me until now about 45000$ but I am very comfortable with it now. The biggest problem is indeed the drift angle and balance of the car.

The main modifications are:
Poly bushes ALL around
KW Race suspension
6.1l race engine (450 hp)
Tremec gearbox
welded diff
completely striped ; 1300kg
modified front steering
...and I am modifying also for the moment the whole front with new parts...I have to take tomorrow an english parts catalogue to explain what I did and what I intend to do

A video of me is already here in the forum but this here is my favorite one ...a hill race demo with my friend Paul Vlasblom (Paul was 3rd in Qualifying at the Red Bull World Championship in US a few months ago )
http://www.internet-tv.lu/Drift-Euro...stang-BMW.html
You can upload also a nice lap in a qualification round here

Nice to hear from you The main question still remains what did you do to your steering angle cause it looks awsome. Waiting for your pictures of the setup and how it looks like cause Yes the stock angle sucks rly much and if you have found another way to fix this problem by incresing angle it would be realy nice to hear it
P.S do you often do events in Germany?

Oh and about KW suspension: did you make a special order from them to make coilovers for you? and how much did that cost you? Or do they make coilovers for 5.0's?

I drive very often in Germany...
KW had the race suspension in their program for the 88' Mustang! ...and it drives fantastic!

Heck yeah, will you have a cell phone with you? If so just let me know, I'll PM you my phone number and we'll connect if you're not too far away. Especially if you find yourself near the Atlanta area.
